How It Works

We offer the WARP1 Charger in three variants: Basic, Smart and Pro. With all variants, you can charge your electric vehicle according to DIN EN 61851-1 Mode 3. Each model allows single-phase and three-phase charging (depending on the connection type) and is available as an 11 kW and 22 kW variant. The 11 kW and 22 kW variants differ, among other things, in the conductor cross-section of the vehicle charging cable. The maximum charging current can be reduced from 16 A (three-phase 11 kW) or 32 A (three-phase 22 kW) via switch settings in the charger. A minimum of 6 A is possible.

After plugging the Type 2 charging plug into the vehicle, a blue LED on the front panel of the charger indicates the charging status. The charging capability of the charger can be disabled via a key switch. Inside the front LED there is a button with which an active charging process can be stopped immediately.

Variants

WARP1 Charger Basic

The WARP1 Charger Basic is the simplest model. With it, an electric vehicle can be charged according to DIN EN 61851-1 Mode 3. The maximum charging current is specified via switch settings in the charger. The charging status is indicated by the blue front LED.

WARP1 Charger Smart

The WARP1 Charger Smart series is additionally equipped with a WiFi controller. This can open its own WiFi as an access point or be integrated into an existing network. The charger has its own web interface, on which the current charging status is displayed and settings can be made. For example, the charging power can be configured via the web interface. The charger can also be remotely controlled via its MQTT interface.

WARP1 Charger Pro

The WARP1 Charger Pro series offers everything the WARP1 Charger Smart offers. In addition, this charger is equipped with an MID-certified meter. This measures how much energy (kWh) has been charged and provides statistics with which you get an overview of your electricity costs.

Connection Cable

All chargers are delivered with a permanently attached 5 m or 7.5 m charging cable with a Type 2 plug. The WARP1 Charger Basic and Smart models are available without a connection cable (connection of the supply line) or with a 2 m connection cable with a CEE plug. The WARP1 Charger Pro model is always delivered with a 2 m connection cable, since due to the additionally installed energy meter there is not enough space available to connect a supply line directly. There are therefore the variants with a 2 m cable with open cable ends as well as a 2 m cable with a CEE plug.

The following connection cables are used (depending on the selected options):

  • 11 kW: Rubber connection cable H07RN-F 5G4 (4 mm² cross-section) + 16 A CEE plug
  • 22 kW: Rubber connection cable H07RN-F 5G6 (6 mm² cross-section) + 32 A CEE plug
